Mark Carter

Mark was born in Alton, IL and has both a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He has been active in the St. Louis film community acting in feature films such as SIN and Begin Again the Movie, and short films such as 821 JustInDrive, One Cold Morning, and Daddy. Mark’s acting experience also includes roles in Web Series such as 13th Darkness and The Sinister Truth. His two most notable acting roles in The Sinister Truth include both the “always innocent criminal” Jessie Dumschmitt, and the Disco Interviewer.

Mark has experience working behind the camera on both Film and Web Series projects as an Assistant Director, and as the Director of Photography/Cinematographer.

Mark was an Associate Producer on the critically acclaimed short film, Hair of the Dog.
